Designed for children ages 7-10 who speak English at home and are ready to strengthen their reading, writing, grammar and communication skills.

Level 4 is for children who already have a solid foundation in English and are ready to dive deeper into reading, writing, speaking, and understanding how language works - all in a fun, supportive environment!

What children will do in this class:

• Strengthen reading skills through age-appropriate texts that spark curiosity
• Explore grammar and sentence structure in a way that’s easy to understand and fun to apply
• Develop richer vocabulary using adjectives, adverbs, and descriptive language
• Gain confidence in speaking and sharing ideas during group discussions
• Practice purposeful writing, using punctuation like speech marks and exclamation points correctly
• Organize thoughts into creative stories and paragraphs
• Tackle tricky spelling patterns like ough and igh, as well as silent letters and irregular plurals
• Read and respond to simple comprehension tasks through our structured reading scheme
• Balance spelling and dictation with fun word games to keep learning interactive and enjoyable
• Learn to alphabetize and use dictionaries, supporting journal writing and creative storytelling
• Explore cross-curricular themes such as volcanoes, space, and jungles, giving new vocabulary real-world context

Classes are small, so every child gets personal attention and can progress at their own pace. The atmosphere is warm, encouraging, and playful, helping children enjoy learning - because when learning is fun, progress follows naturally!

They have always liked their teachers and went to class with high motivation, from playgroup to first reading and writing all the way to creative writing classes.
